An examination of the studies and findings behind the science of meditation
One of the most consistent findings in the meditation literature is the effectiveness of Sahaja Yoga meditation in epilepsy.A series of studies have shown significant reductions of the number of seizures in patients with epilepsy of up to 86% after 6 months of treatment with Sahaja Yoga meditation compared to sham meditation.
The authors argue that the reduction in stress following Sahaja Yoga practice may be responsible for the clinical improvement of their epilepsy
